Civil Process
The Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office is required under Idaho Law to serve Civil Process. This includes Subpoena’s, Writs, Sheriff’s sales, Summons, Civil Protection Order and other documents.
This is a very important part of the Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office and a duty we take very seriously. The Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office employs one person to do the documentation and certification of these documents. Annual training is vitally important to keep up with all of the requirements.
Documents needed to be served must be brought to the Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office in Murphy or mailed to the address listed below.
