Probation Department

It is the mission of the Owyhee County Probation Department to reduce the likelihood that offenders brought to the attention of the Court, will continue to violate the law by imposing accountability for offenses committed, equipping offenders with required competencies to live productively and responsibly and ensuring adequate protection in the community.

Community Service

Owyhee County assess $1 per each hour of community service ordered by the Court. This is an insurance fee and once this paid; please contact the Owyhee County Probation Office to obtain a community service, worker’s verification sheet.

Drug Testing (Urinalysis and Saliva) with Instant Results

Available upon request at $10 per test

Substance Abuse Classes

Drug and alcohol classes offered every other Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
