On-site wedding requests can be made of the judge by calling the courthouse and confirming a date of availability. The fee is $150.00. If you would like the judge to also appear at a rehearsal, there is an addition $150.00 fee. Payment and presentation of the marriage license must be made at least five days before the ceremony, or the judge will not appear.
Weddings can also be scheduled at the courthouse on any weekday that the judge is in. The wedding is held in the courtroom at the Owyhee Courthouse in Murphy. The marriage license must be brought in at the time of the ceremony. There is no fee.
